Zain La Chance

A product of my environment making products for my environment.

I’m Zain, just a fella who may have been given a little too much free time growing up. This freedom left me with some scars, scrapes, and bruises, but it most importantly cultivated my eagerness towards creation; combining wheels and duct tape wherever I saw fit.

To put this mindset into a tangible skillset, I graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California. In undergraduate, I naturally enjoyed the process of developing a vague idea and turning it into a functional (or sometimes just cool) physical product. Realizing my keenness towards product design and development, I emphasized my studies to highlight field research, materials, and mechanism design.

Having the privileges to grow up next to the ocean and surrounded by forests, I have a deep rooted appreciation for nature and our climate. As a result I have and will strive to design with respect to sustainability and efficiency. Oh, and don’t worry I smile too.
